Hi! I’m Suri — welcome to my corner of the internet.

I’m a senior at Skidmore College studying Sociology and Psychology, and I spend most of my time thinking about power, inequality, emotion, and identity—basically, why people feel what they feel, where they feel it, and how space and systems shape those emotions.

I love exploring how people move through cities, how surveillance changes our sense of self, and how identities are performed or negotiated in everyday life.

When I’m not doing research, you can usually find me with my camera. I’m a portrait photographer who enjoys catching tiny expressions, soft moods, and the kind of beauty people don’t always notice in themselves.
